The capital murder case of the woman accused of killing her newborn baby has been dismissed.

Chastity Ballinger had been charged with capital murder and abuse of a corpse.

The court found no probable cause on the charges of capital murder after human remains were found last year.

The court did, however, find a probable cause on the abuse of a corpse based on evidence of the human remains recovered in the shed.

Officials believe Ballinger lived in Wilcox County when she gave birth to the baby.

They say she wrapped the baby in plastic wrap and  left it in a storage bin for years.  She recently moved to Clarke County, where it was found by her mother.

The corpse abuse charge has been given to the Wilcox County grand jury for a possible indictment.
