Ryles sentenced to two life terms for double murder

A man convicted in a double murder case in Pike County will spend the rest of his life in prison.
 
Brandon Ryles was sentenced to two consecutive life terms in Pike County court today. 
 
A jury found him guilty last month of two felony murder charges. 
 
He was accused of killing 53-year-old Mark Adams and 22-year-old Carla Smilie. 
 
The two were found dead in Adams’ home in the Needmore community in April 20-11.
 
Ryles is one of four suspects who faced charges in connection with the murder.
