Joe Hubbard Concedes AG Race to Luther Strange

Attorney General Luther Strange will serve 4 more years in office. It was a close race with Democratic challenger Joe Hubbard.
Joe Hubbard came into his campaign party to concede at Riverwalk Stadium about 10:15 Tuesday night. He had a short visit but an important message he wanted to get out to his supporters.
He shook hands and hugged his supporters telling them thank you for all of their support. Hubbard stood with his wife by his side and thanked her for her support along the way. He says this race was about “bringing Alabama together” and he said he could declare victory because the state did just that in coming together to let their voices be heard on who they wanted as their elected leaders. Hubbard also says he will support Luther Strange.
“I will join Luther Strange in his work to bring leadership to the state because Alabama needs good leadership,” said Hubbard.
Hubbard wasn’t specific about what he will be doing next, but he says it will be in public service.
