Man Arrested for Meth in Troy

A man is behind bars after the Troy Police Emergency Response team allegedly finds meth when they are searching his home.Â
Â
Troy Police say Jeffrey Anthony Tuck has been caught with a meth lab before and he was on probation for a drug charge.Â
Â
But police say he’s now back in jail, after being caught again with meth.Â
Â
The emergency response team was searching a home off of North Three Notch Street. They were looking for stolen property. They allegedly found a lot of scrap metal and Tuck allegedly had meth on him.Â
Â
Troy police say they see a lot of people stealing to fuel a drug habit.Â
Â
Troy Police Lt. Bryan Weed said, “Drug crimes they are labeled as being victimless. Which we have to deal with the drug side of it and we also have to deal with recovering the property and returning it back to the rightful owners.”
Â
Police say he could soon be charged with manufacturing meth. He’s in jail and was granted no bond.Â
