Selma Police Searching for Attempted Murder Suspect

SELMA, Ala. (WAKA) – The Selma Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit has issued warrants in connection with an attempted murder.

Dewayne Jackson, 19, of Selma is wanted for “Attempted Murder” and two counts of “Shooting into an Occupied Building.” 

His charges stem from an August 17th incident, where of a 28 year old man was shot in the chest in the 1200 Block of Woodrow Avenue.

Jackson is considered Armed & Extremely Dangerous.
