Elmore Co School Superintendent Will Resign at the End of the School Year

The Elmore county school superintendent says he will resign at the end of the school year.
Jeff Langham has been the superintendent for ten years.
He was recruited by state superintendent tommy bice to take an administrative job with the state.
Langham says he is thankful for the new position:Â
“i’m just so excited to have this opportunity to return to the state department of education. That’s where I came the superintendency from at the end of 2004. Just completed my tenth year here. So honored to ride on the coattails of extraordinary people everyday, teachers, administrators, students.” Â say Elmore Co Superintendent Jeff Langham.
Langham will start his new position next school year. He has recommended his deputy superintendent Andre Harrison as his replacement.
The board will make the final decision.Â
