Troy Elementary students transformed their classes into tribes. More than 170 kindergartners put on their annual pow wow Thursday.
They’ve been working with their teachers on their costumes and songs since August. Teachers say this is tradition of more than ten years and it’s all to teach the little ones cultural awareness, and about the history and traditions of Thanksgiving.
The kindergartners say they have a lot to be thankful for.
Parents were invited to watch the pow wow and then joined their kids for a Thanksgiving meal.
