Community Enjoys Christmas Lights Festival at the Zoo

Folks came out Friday night to view the thousands of lights all over the Montgomery Zoo.
They enjoyed seeing the zoo transformed into a Winter Wonderland. You can take a leisurely stroll, ride the train or see the lights atop the Zoofari Skylight Adventure Ride.Â
You can also visit with Santa and get a picture with him.
Those who we talked to say It’s a fun event for the whole family.
“We were bringing our little boy here to see all the Christmas lights and enjoy the local festivities for the holidays and spend a little bit of quality family time together,” said Brittney Waites.
“They always have a great display and its beautiful and just a good atmosphere, not too crowded. Just perfect amount of crowd,” Jessica Henry.

 ‘They’re all good. I can’t decide there’s so many to choose from,” said Will Henry.
The Christmas lights festival funs through December 14th then the 18th-31st 5:30-9:30pm.
Admission is free to members. For non-members, admission is 15 dollars for 3 year olds and up. Two and under get in free.
