Wetumpka’s annual Christmas on the Coosa celebration

Wetumpka held it’s annual Christmas on the Coosa celebration. The event featured activities and events for the whole family, including a car show for the adults, and pony rides and other entertainment options for the kids. There was even a showcase for local are talent. Christmas on the Coosa featured a parade with over 100 entries…including Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

One of the visitors of the event, Idell Gill, loved the event, saying, “A lot of times it unifies the community and everybody seems like they have a wonderful time…and if its any time that we really need unity…its now!”
