Local Church Hosts Bike Giveaway
A local Church held a bike giveaway today.
St. John’s AME Church gave away 25 bicycles to children living in homes under the Montgomery Housing Authority. They started collecting donations to purchase the bicycles on Nov. 30th and each child received a goodie bag of toys along with a bicycle.
The church worked with the Montgomery Housing Authority for help in choosing the children who received bikes.
They started this toy drive in 2006.
