SBI Investigating Deadly Officer Involved Shooting
Dallas County, AL – The State Bureau of Investigations is investigating a fatal officer-involved shooting in Dallas County. According to Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson, Thomas Monts Jr., was shot and killed during a shootout in Safford Monday morning after deputies responded to a domestic dispute call at his ex-wife’s home. Authorities are currently investigating who fired the fatal shot. An autopsy has been ordered. The SBI is investigating.
