AAA Offers Tow For Life For New Year’s Eve

New Years Eve is one of the most dangerous nights to drive on the road, but AAA is offering you safe trip home. On New Years Eve from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. New Years morning, AAA is offering its Tow for Life program for those who are too impaired to drive. The service is free for the first 10 miles, and you don’t even have to be a AAA member. To qualify for the program: – You must be with your car when tow truck arrives. – Must have a working vehicle. – Towers will only take you home. “We’re trying to encourage people to plan ahead before they go out. A little bit of planning goes a long way with this kind of thing. Make arrangements for a designated driver, or maybe a place to spend the night where maybe you don’t have to drive or just put a phone number in your pocket with maybe a cab service or our tow for life phone number,” Said AAA spokesperson, Clay Ingram. The program has been around for the last 28 years. If you are interested in getting a Tow-for-Life ride, call 800-AAA-HELP.
