The cold weather is to blame in part for the death of a missing Uniontown man.
This morning authorities found the body of 48 year old Michael Gibbs in Hale County. His body was found in an open field along with the truck he had been driving.
Gibbs suffered from early dementia according to authorities, he became disoriented and got out of the truck and spent the night outside.
Authorities had been searching for Gibbs since about 7:30 last night after he called his father but was unable to tell him where he was.
They say Gibbs died of hypothermia.
