CBS 8 is taking action against crime from the Troy newsroom.

Bullock County Sheriff’s investigators are asking for information on burglary suspects.

Investigators say there’s been 6 burglaries in the Sand Hill Community in a matter of weeks. That’s on County Road 31.

Authorities say all the burglaries were similar. Suspects forced their way into homes through the front or back door and stole flat screen TVs and jewelry. All the burglaries took place during the day.

Investigators urge residents to be on the lookout for any suspicious cars in their area.

Also from Bullock County a store owner closes for the night and is then robbed by a man with red ski mask at the gate of his home.

And the suspect or suspects are still out there.

Investigators say the owner of Max Grocery locked up his store and was a short time later robbed outside of his home.

Authorities are only able to release that the suspect was wearing a red ski mask….and stole money and two pistols.

The suspect reportedly got away in a dark colored car and fired several shots.

If you have any information call the Bullock County Sheriff’s Office at 334-738-2670.
