A Selma charity known for feeding the hungry is now also providing a warm place for people in the community who need to get out the cold.

Edmundite Missions has opened a warming station at the Bosco Food Center in Selma. The food center provides hot meals twice a day — all year round. Officials say the warming center will be open until 6:30 each day during the deep freeze.

The charity is also putting dozens of people up in hotel rooms overnight.
