Air National Guard holds Change of Command
Today, an air national guard stationed here in Montgomery has a new commander after a ceremony at Dannelly Field.
Colonel Samuel Black handed over command of the 187th Fighter Wing to Colonel Randal Efferson.
Commander of the Alabama Air National Guard Brigadier General Steven Berrywill was there to officiate the ceremony.
The incoming and outgoing colonels shared a positive outlook about the direction of the unit under new leadership.
During the ceremony, Colonel Black received the Legion of Merit Award for his service as Commander
