Construction Worker Trapped in Trench at Central VA Building

Montgomery Fire/Rescue responded to the VA Medical Center  on Perry Hill late morning to assist after a comstruction worker became briefly trapped in a trench outside a building on campus.

 

By the time Montgomery Fire and Recue arrived, co-workers had assisted in freeing the man. The worker was not believed to be injured, but was transported as a precautionary measure. T

 

The man apparently was working in the trench when shifting dirt reached about the height of the worker’s knees, trapping him briefly.
