Prattville Police Arrest Shooting Suspect

A Prattville man faces murder charges after he was arrested in connection to a shooting. Prattville police responded the shooting Friday afternoon on 117 Simmons Road. Upon arrival, they found a 20-year-old woman lying in the front yard. It appeared that the women was suffering from an apparent gun shot wound. After an initial preliminary investigation, Prattville police found a suspect inside the residence. He has been identified James Brandon Jordan. Jordan was arrested and charged with attempted murder. He is being held in the Autauga County Jail on $60,000.00 bond. The victim was transported to Baptist South in Montgomery, where she is listed in critical condition. Police say the shooting appears to be a domestic related incident and is still under investigation.
