Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Hosts 18th Annual MLK Memorial Breakfast
Continuing the events celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. this week, the local chapter of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity threw the 18th annual memorial breakfast. The event honored King’s memory and recognized outstanding citizens that follow his legacy. About 900 people attended the event, which also raised money for scholarships.
The group raised about $108,000 that will go to help more that 200 students in 50 colleges, nationwide.
