Troy Man Accused of Stabbing Another Man Convicted of Manslaughter

A man accused of stabbing another man at a night club in Troy has been convicted of manslaughter.

Aquantis Thomas was on murder trial for the stabbing death of Jacobi Jones at a night club in July of 2012.

Authorities say Thomas got into a fight with Jones at Club 29 on Three Notch sSreet in Troy.

The judge revoked Thomas’ bond and he is now in custody.

Thomas will be sentenced on May 4th and could face 20 years in prison.
