Troy Police Department Arrest 3 in Connection to the Ann St. Burglary

The Troy Police Department arrested three people in connection to a burglary that occurred Friday February 6th on Ann Street.

The Troy Police Department received a report of a burglary in the 400 Block of Ann Street at approximately 3:30pm Friday February 6th.

Officers arrived on the scene and made contact with the victim who had found the home broken into. The victim described a suspect vehicle that was at the residence when they returned homeÂ
and had spoken to one of the suspects at that time, not knowing the person was connected to the crime.Â

Neighbors began calling the Police Department about two other suspects that were seen in the Neighborhood during the same time. Responding Officers made contact with one of the suspects on foot behind Julia’s Restaurant and she was identified as 24 year old Jana Kaye Arnold of Sylvester, GA.

Officers were able to locate the suspect’s vehicle and the female driver at the Scottish Inn, this suspect was identified as 23 year old Toni Nicole Kelley of Baconton, GA. The vehicle was confirmed to be stolen out of Albany, GA and was towed from the scene.

Officers continued to search the area for the third suspect and at approximately 6pm, Officers made contact with him walking on US231 in the area of Spurlock’s Scrap Metal and the suspect fled into the Woods. Officers set up a perimeter and after searching for the suspect for several hours, the suspect could not be found. Officers left the scene and at approximately 10:30pm, the Police Department received a call that the suspect was at the Scottish Inn.

Officers responded and took the suspect into custody at the Scottish Inn. The male suspect was identified as 24 year old Travis Eugene Wade III of Baconton, GA.

All three suspects were transported to the Troy Police Department. At approximately 11pm the Troy Police Department received a report of a stolen vehicle from a business in the area of the search for the third suspect and the vehicle was located by officers at the Scottish Inn a short time after responding to the call.Â

After further investigation it was found that Arnold had a felony warrant for her arrest out of Georgia and Wade had 5 felony warrants for his arrest out of Georgia. Arnold and Kelley were charged with Burglary 3rd degree in connection to the Ann Street burglary. Kelley was also charged with receiving Stolen Property 1st degree in connection to the Stolen Vehicle from Georgia. Wade was charged with receiving Stolen Property 1st degree in connection to the vehicle taken from the business.Â

Arnold’s bond was set at $5,000 ; Kelley’s bond was set at $15,000; Wade’s bond was set at $10,000

All three suspects were processed at the Troy City Jail and transported to the Pike County Jail.

Wade has waived extradition back to Georgia on his outstanding warrants.

This case is still under investigation by the Troy Police Department.
