Trial begins today in Hayneville for Lowndes County Superintendent Daniel Boyd.

Boyd is charged with 108 counts of reckless endangerment of minors.

His charges stem from his decision to allow a school janitor accused of fondling a female middle school student to return to work before a criminal investigation was finished.

Prosecutors say his actions put other female students at risk.
