ASU Coach Allegations

Brian Jenkins was named new Alabama State Head Coach about 2 months ago.

But now serious allegations have emerged according to a report from the Montgomery Advertiser.

It all stems from his previous coaching position at Bethune Cookman.

The Advertiser cites conversations with former players and coaches, detailing mistreatment of players and NCAA violations. Impermissable benefits, long practice hours and even allegedly threatening a player with a knife.

The report also indicates that ASU Athletic Director Melvin Hines knew of the allegations before making the hire.
