MPD Searching for Suspect who Intentionally Crash into Apartment, Critically Injuring a Child

Montgomery Police are still looking for a man they say intentionally drove a car into an apartment building last week and critically injuring a child.

28-year-old Juan Daniels is wanted for attempted murder.

Police say he drove an SUV into the building following an argument. 

They say Daniels was trying to injure the man he had been arguing with. But ended hitting the child instead.

It happened at the Centennial Hill apartments in Downtown.

The six-year-old victim is now recovering at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham. The man, police say Daniels was targeting was not injured.

Daniels fled on foot after the crash.

He is described as five foot nine, weighing 250 pounds.Daniels was last known to live in the 400 block of Belvoir Drive. 

He is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
