Death Investigation Underway in Selma

From the West Alabama Newsroom– A death investigation is underway in Selma.
Police say they found a seriously injured 29 year old Selma woman lying on the side of County Road 74 near Montgomery Highway at around 12 o’clock this afternoon.
The woman was taken to the hospital where she later died.
Police investigators are trying to figure out what happened to her.
“She was unresponsive to any words or anything from the officers so right now we don’t know what we have,” said Lt. Curtis Muhannad.
