This week, the Golden Apple award takes us to Autauga County Technology School, where we meet Early Childhood Education teacher Allison Searcy.
Searcy spent years teaching middle and elementary school before moving into her current classroom, where she teaches high school students who are interested in becoming teachers themselves.
“I wish every teacher could have this joy. to see young people be passionate about helping the future, and no matter what a person becomes, their foundation starts with education,” Searcy said.
