Max Credit Union Donates Selma to Montgomery March Painting

Today, the city of Montgomery received a present from a local bank and an artist. Max Credit Union in Montgomery presented the city with a piece of art in commemoration of the Selma to Montgomery March. The painting pictures marchers on the route to Montgomery. It was created by a local artist, John Hopkins. Max Credit Union officials say the hope is to place it on the walls of city hall so that future generations won’t ever forget that freedom is something to cherish. The artwork is also available to put on the face of your credit card.
