State and National leaders as well as celebrities came to Selma Saturday to hear President Barrack Obama and to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Selma to Montgomery March.

“To come back today with the president and to remember how much we have accomplished but then how much is still yet before us,” said Revered Al Sharpton.

While Jubilee is somewhat of a celebration, many say there is still work to do here in Selma and nationwide.

“We look around and we see Selma and we see this area, this part of the state needs some help. And we need industry in this area and we’re working here on that.”
