Paul Finebaum Speaks at Cancer Wellness Fundraiser
He’s a familiar face to many. When Paul Finebaum was asked to be the keynote speaker at the Cancer Wellness Foundation’s fundraiser, he didn’t hesitate.
“To me, it was a pretty easy decision. When I heard about the organization and obviously the great work it does. I said yes, when is it?” said Finebaum.
The Cancer Wellness Foundation of Central Alabama helps cancer patients and their families with the services they need to battle cancer.
For finebaum, it is a cause that hits close to his heart.
“In this case, obviously cancer, it affects so many people. I was with a very close friend two nights ago who is battling it. When I told him what I was doing, his eyes lit up. He was so inspired and grateful,” said Finebaum.
And the Cancer Wellness Foundation says Finebaum has been a joy to work with as well.
“He’s a bit of a polarizing character. I guess it depends on which side of the aisle you’re sitting on. But he’s fun to listen to. I have to tell you, our experience with him this evening, he has been the most gracious individual. He’s been willing to talk to all the press and meet people,” said board member Larry Stevens.
All in hopes of being able to assist the Cancer Wellness Foundation’s motto to ‘Give help… Give hope.’
