Suspect Arrested on Attempted Murder Charges
Selma police have made an arrest for a shooting that happened last year. Police arrested Dwayne Jackson on attempted murder charges, saying Jackson shot a firearm into an occupied home on Woodrow Avenue last August. One man was shot in that incident.

Investigators say they found several weapons at Jackson’s home at the time of his arrest.

He is currently being held at the Dallas County jail without bond.
