Seven from Alabama Shot During Party in Panama City Beach

Seven people are injured after an overnight shooting in Panama City Beach.The victims – all of them aged 20-22 years old – were all from Alabama, and several were students at Alabama A&M. Three of the victims are in critical condition.
 
Bay County Sheriff Frank McKeithen called the scene “absolute chaos”, with multiple law enforcement agencies working to find answers.
 
Three victims were found inside the home on Thomas Dr. near the intersection of Hurt St. The other were found outside in the street and on the median. Paramedics responded quickly to transport the victims to the hospital.
 
Authorities found a 40-caliber handgun in the backyard of a neighboring home.
 
According to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office, 22-year-old David Daniels is under arrest. He is charged with multiple counts of attempted murder. Daniels is from Mobile, AL. This isn’t the first run-in with the law. Daniels was arrested in Mobile County on gambling and drug charges in 2012. In 2014, he was arrested again for violating his probation, disorderly conduct, and additional drug charges.
