Scott Rials Named News Head Football Coach for Luverne High School

It’s official. Luverne High School has a new head football coach, and he’s bringing a lot of excitement to the community.

Scott Rials has 18 years of head coaching experience. Winning a state title, his most recent stint was at Satsuma High School in Mobile County, setting school records. It’s just one of many reasons why Luverne’s search committee chose Rials. Not only are school officials hoping that the new coach will have an impact on players on the field, but also in the classroom.

Rials replaces Mike Dubose, who left the school to help coach Opp High School on a part time basis. Dubose was also head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide from 1997 to 2000.
