11th Annual Autism Crawfish Boil Benefits Research

One local group is working to help raise money for Autism research today.

The 11th Annual Autism crawfish boil was held at Rockbottom American Pub this afternoon.

The Mudbug Ball Committee hosted the event benefiting the Easter Seals of Central Alabama.

There was live music from local bands, and two tons of all you can eat crawfish.

Every dime that was raised at today’s event is going toward the ESCA’s speech therapy program and Autism Diagnosis Clinic.

The group is hoping to raise 25-thousand dollars for Easter Seals. They raised 22-thousand at last year’s crawfish boil.

April is Autism Awareness Month.
