Montgomery’s Speed Cameras

You’ve probably seen them parked around Montgomery — empty police cars with radar detection systems and cameras.

They will snap a photo of a car caught speeding. Then the car’s owner will receive a ticket in the mail. 

Police say the cars are used in pedestrian-heavy areas, like school zones, construction zones and neighborhoods. But are they really making Montgomery streets safer?
