Auburn Defensive End Elijah Daniel Arrested

AUBURN, AL —- Elijah Daniel, along with two other former Auburn athletes, were arrested in connection with a string of burglaries and thefts at a dorm on Auburn’s Campus, according to Auburn police.
Daniel was arrested Wednesday with DeNorris James and Khalil Sellers. They each face four charges of theft of property and four charges of burglary. They were each elidgible for a $24,000 bond.
James was briefly a walk-on for the Auburn football team. Sellers was a walk-on for the track team a few years before.
Gus Malzahn released a statement Wednesday saying that Daniel is suspended indefinitely. He played in each of the first 27 games of his Auburn career.
