The Presidential election is about a year half away.
A Wall Street Journal poll says less than 7 percent of Americans say they want a so-called “evangelical Christian” as president. But they would be more comfortable having a gay president.
First Baptist pastor Jay Wolf says he believes America has lost the true meaning of what it means to be a Christian.
“I would take it back to the issue of definition. Most people who follow Jesus try to be like Jesus. And Jesus was full of love, purity, and serving. Because I’m an American citizen and a voter, that’s the type of leader that I’d be praying that we’d get in America,” said Wolf.
