Changes Coming to Alabama National Fair
The Alabama National Fair may still be several months away, but organizers are already announcing some changes to this year’s event.
The fair will be held at Garrett Coliseum in Montgomery October 30 through November 8. This represents a later date for the fair, which has started in early October in the past. Â
The Kiwanis Club of Montgomery puts on the fair for each year, which is the group’s major charity fundraiser. A news conference will be held Tuesday, May 12, when details of the change will be explained along with the advantages of going to a later date for the fair.

Also, the entertainment for this year’s Alabama National Fair will be announced. The announcement will include one of the all-time great rock bands along with a hot country act that is a 2015 ACM award winner, according to the Kiwanis Club.
