MONTGOMERY, AL — Lee basketball standout Tommy Burton finally made his college choice.
The 6’8 guard will take his talents across town to Alabama State. Burton chose ASU over Ole Miss and Auburn.
“There were different schools coming in and out of the picture,” said Burton. “A lot of people always counted Alabama State out, but behind the scenes, Alabama State was doing things other schools weren’t.”
Burton averaged 21.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game his junior year at St. Jude.
