The Lady Eagles left Goshen with quite the exit, heading to the state championship tournament.

All the Goshen students at the high school and elementary school stood outside to wave to the thirteen softball players and their coach.

The sheriff’s office provided a full lights and sirens exit to get the crowd excited.

This is the fifth time they are heading to the finals, so they are hoping five is their lucky number.

Amy Warrick, Softball Coach said, “Well we had a heating practice here before we left so were focusing on we’ve seen a lot of good pitching, so we are focusing on playing great defense and hitting the ball really well.”

The Lady Eagles are playing Gaston tomorrow at 9 in the morning at Lagoon Park in Montgomery.
