Montgomery Looking to Build Strong Relationship With Small Businesses

 Officials with the city of Montgomery say they are looking to build a stronger relationship with Small and minority business owners. The city held it’s first small and minority business initiative symposium. The goal is to GIVE more small and minority business owners an opportunity to receive local government contracts.They hope the symposium will also serve as the first step in building better relationships, and providing key information. City officials say their goal is for small and minority businesses to have up to 30 percent of local government contracts in the city.
