Final FOCUS Group Meets with East Montgomery Residents

The city of Montgomery, along with the county, held its final FOCUS group they launched to help share information and services with neighborhoods across the city.
The event was held in east Montgomery Thursday night.
Residents got a chance to see the services organizations in the area offer.
Some say they wanted to see the eastside growth and development addressed.
And others have additional concerns.
“The Montgomery Police Department is reorganizing, so we are looking to see how that is going to affect us overall and the safety of our community and responses and things like that,” said Sean Cassidy.
Community coordinator Claire Watson says there has been positive feedback to the FOCUS groups and the next step is to get the city website more accessible so people can find the services they need.
