Intersection Changes Underway on Taylor Road at Eastchase in Mongomery

One of the busiest and most accident prone intersections in Montgomery is undergoing some big changes.
The entrance to the East Chase shopping center from Taylor Road can be a nightmare for drivers. But now developers of the new Chase Corner across the street are putting up most of the the 2 million dollars in funding to rearrange the intersection.
Drivers will be able to go straight from East Chase to Chase Corner. Plus, there will be a dedicated turning lane from Interstate 85 into Chase Corner. Also, a dedicated straight through lane with barriers will now prevent drivers from merging across several lanes of traffic to get into East chase.
Construction should be finished by June or July.
