Parents of Luverne High School students want to know why the school’s principal has been put on administrative leave.
Interim Crenshaw County School Superintendent Terry Holley notified principal Greg Pittman that he was being put on indefinite administrative leave.
Pittman says he’s not sure why he’s been suspended. He says a big issue with him is the timing of the suspension. That’s because seniors will be graduating, and he is not allowed to attend.
Pittman says he is still being paid and has one year left on his contract. He’s been principal at Luverne High School for four years.
