From the West Alabama Newsroom– Law enforcement in West Alabama could soon be getting help from a TV show — to crack cases that have so far gone unsolved.
Unsolved murder cases in the 4th Judicial Circuit could soon be featured on the Cold Justice television series on TNT. Authorities are putting together a list of cold cases for the show to consider.
“Its one of those shows where they send down some investigators to help out the local law enforcement to solve some unsolved cases,” said District Attorney Michael Jackson.
“It never hurts to have help and so we’d like to submit several cases to them and see which ones they might want to help us on.”
Jackson said he didn’t want to talk about specific cases because he didn’t know which cases — if any — the show will choose to help investigate.
