AUBURN, AL — The Auburn Tigers softball team was greeted by hundreds of fans after their two close wins in the Women’s Colllege World Series.
It was Auburn’s first ever trip to the Series. The team was led by head coach Clint Myers who promised the Tigers that he would get them there when he was hired.
“When we started this is what we said we were going to do,” said Myers. “This is a legacy. This is a team that has started the legacy of champions.”
Myers added that this is just the beginning, and that he hopes to build on this season’s success.
“We told everyone at Okalhoma City to get used to seeing Auburn,” said Myers.
