Chance to Fly in Legacy Army Aircraft in Troy Saturday

An event this weekend in Troy is offering an up close look at Army Aviation. People will have the chance to take flights in legacy Army aircraft.
The Wiregrass Chapter of the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation is bringing two aircrafts to Butter and Egg Adventures Saturday in Troy.
It’s an opportunity to not only reach out to the public, but also to veterans.
John “Doc” Holladay, President Army Aviation Heritage Foundation Wiregrass Chapter said, “Maybe it’s an opportunity to have closure for something he’s waited 50 years to experience. To show his family what he encountered 50 years ago. That to me is priceless.You can’t put a figure on that, you cant put a cost on that other than the fact that it is the most rewarding thing that I can do at this point in my life.”
