Two in Pike County behind bars on drug related charges
Two people in Pike County are behind bars on drug related charges. The Pike County Sheriff says deputies found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in Angela Shirley’s possession during a traffic stop. A subsequent search of Shirley’s home on County Road 77-24 led to the arrest of Wendell Childs. Deputies say he was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Investigators say they confiscated cash and firearms from the home. Charges against Shirley include possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell and drug paraphernalia. Shirley is being held in Pike County jail. Her bond is set at $11,000. Bond for Childs is set at $1,000.
