MONTGOMERY, AL — NBA player and Montgomery native Jamychal Green helped at a hometown basketball camp.
Green spoke to the kids after practice today, sharing his journey from where these kids sat today to the NBA.
“Those years flew by,” said Green. “Seeing them, I just picture myself being in that crowd when i was younger. And now to be in the NBA, it shows the growth.”
Green, who plays for the Memphis Grizzlies, attended this camp when he was in middle and high school.
He averaged 2.6 points and 1.9 rebounds last season.
