Troy University police are making progress, but have not caught whoever stole laptops from the campus.
It was almost a year ago when someone broke into the Malone Hall on Troy University’s campus. The suspect stole more than thirty thousand dollars worth of computers. The suspect is shown on surveillance footage leaving in a Jeep Cherokee.
Investigators have been working the case and are reaching out to the public now because they believe someone may know something in the Troy area.
John McCall, Troy University Police Chief said, “We do believe he was local because he left the scene three times and came back and got more property each time. So he was going somewhere locally within just a ten minute ride of campus there and back.”
The suspect is believed to be just over 6 feet tall and possibly has dread locked hair. If you have any information call Crimstoppers at 215-STOP. You may be eligible for a cash reward.
