Pike County authorities are investigating an unusually high number of vehicle thefts.

The Pike County Sheriff’s office is now investigating reports about a stolen truck, four-wheeler and two motorcycles. All have been stolen from different locations across the county and all of the thefts happened in less than 2 weeks.

Also in that time, a vehicle’s been stolen in Brundidge, an ATV in Coffee County, and Troy police are also investigating at least three stolen vehicles in the city limits.

Russell Thomas, Pike County Sheriff said, “We really won’t know what the circumstances are until we make an arrest but with as much property is there is being stolen somebody out there know what’s going on outside of the individuals who are committing these crimes.”

There is a cash reward being offered for anyone that has any information leading to an arrest in these crimes.  If you have any information call the Pike County Sheriff’s Office at 566-4347.
